Provider installed a complete alarm system with motion detectors, smoke and heat detector as well as window and door sensors. Pat was the installer and did an excellent job. He called before he arrived, was neat and very professional with all the work he did. He showed us how to use the system and we felt confident that we knew what we were doing. We had a 48 hour play period where we could use the system and play with it so that we can became familiar with how it worked before it went live with the monitoring program. I would recommend this. The ADT Pulse feature allows you to add this to your smart phone so you can monitor as well as arm and disarm the system vs the keypad nice feature. Brandon Thomas was the rep that called on us and he is a pro! I would highly recommend him and he is a great guy. ADT is lucky to have him. He sold us on the program, the features and benefits, and matched the prices of the equipment from other companies as long as you have it in writing. Look for coupons in the mail or email so that you can get the best prices and packages of features and options as this allows him to give you the best discounts. The security panel does require a 110V connection so you may lose one of your outlets to power the unit. Having the smoke and heat detector provided the biggest reduction in our house insurance policy vs. the basic alarm package.
So far so good with the system.

I had California Security Pro install an alarm system in my home. Overall and in most respects they deserve a strong "A" rating. The sales consultant was very informative and took time to understand my needs. He worked through them with me to find the optimal way to design a system that solved my specific requirements. He came by on the day of installation to insure that the installer clearly understood the system design. The installer was thorough, careful and equally informative. When the installation work was complete he took time to explain and show me how the system worked.They were not inexpensive but charged comparably with other ADT service providers. I chose California Security Pro because of their reputation for quality and follow through, something other companies did not have. I was not disappointed.

After researching alarm systems & companies, and reading many positive reviews, I called California Security Pro who set up an appointment for a home evaluation.Dorelle was very knowledgeable, friendly, thorough, assessed our home and made helpful suggestions - without pressure, and open to my thoughts, concerns, and questions. She provided helpful suggestions for added home security measures on our own. Together we designed/ordered the alarm system features & monitoring service best for us.Installation was scheduled conveniently for 3 days later. (here our one minor glitch - I hadn't been notified of a change in installer and had a moment of confusion when one with another name arrived. I called the company and clarified the change.) Carl was professional, courteous, pleasant, worked hard and competently. He patiently explained the features, options, and how to arm/disarm the system. Both provided me their cell phone numbers with encouragement to call with any questions. I started using the alarm right away and already feel comfortable and reassured using it daily.A wonderful experience on many levels - and I'm happy to recommend California Security Pro.

I added a couple of extra wireless contacts to the online $99 deal. These were reasonably priced. California Security Pro salesman and installer were both great -- knowledgeable and helpful. This was my first security system and I had lots of questions. They were very patient. I can't yet rate the ADT monitoring service as I haven't had the system long enough and I haven't needed ADT to respond to an alarm. But, for installation Cal Security Pro is great.

Installation was timely and went smoothly. The technician (Hector) knew his stuff and did a good job explaining the system and how to operate it. The package I bought included a limited number of sensors and detectors, so I purchased more and was given a discount (nice). I had a false alarm the first or second night which was not good. Called CSP and they sent Hector the next day - good responsiveness all the way around. Hector replaced and moved one of the sensors. Had another false alarm incident (shouldn't happen since there's a sensor in the cracked open position), so I have to close the window all the way. Not ideal but workable. Not necessarily CSP, seems it's the equipment (sensor). Overall though, the system seems to be working as it should. The iPhone app (ADT's app not CA Security Pro's) works at times. I've had to delete the app and reinstall and sometimes the status is inaccurate. The app would be great if it worked right.

The sales rep--Angel-- answered all of our questions, and was very friendly. I felt he was very aware of other providers' prices and did a good job to get us the best rate. The install was the very next day and was quick and painless. The installer--Christian--was friendly and did a good job, making adjustments to the original plan as he went through the house and we deliberated over placement of sensors. All in all, we feel a better sense of security.
