I couldn't be happier with the service or the product I received. I recently moved here from Oakland and converted my garage into a recording studio. Wow. I work with salespeople for a living, and come from a sales family, so I already have a really high bar for sales and customer service. That said, Jarrett McAllister and his assistant Shonna and installation and service pro Hector are a team that any company would be lucky to have. I was headed out of town on business and Jarrett and Shonna got our install set up and scheduled in less than a day, and then Hector pulled a late night (install finished after midnight) to get our system up and running so our home had protection within a matter of hours after a break in. I got home the evening after the install and had a number of questions about usage, etc., and Hector stayed on the phone with me on his own personal time until they were all answered. It was a level of above and beyond service that surpassed my expectations and for which I'm most grateful. The thing to understand about ADT is that ADT themselves don't do installations and service - it's a series of dealers around the nation who do that, and those dealers are as varied as any business. Make sure you research the dealer who's doing your install and service! I really can't recommend the California Security Pro team more highly. Consummate professionals who are committed to getting the job done right and high customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle and into the service period thereafter. We recently bought our first house, and tons of alarm companies were calling and knocking on our door. California Security Pro's was one of them. I was right in the middle of taking care of the baby, and Jarrett M. called. He was very polite and welcoming on the phone. This stood out to me, because I am all about customer service. I had quite the saga getting an alarm system installed and these guys were the ones who finally made it work! I had purchased a DIY install alarm system from another company and when I went to install it I realized that the door sensor would not work on my weirdly recessed front door (which is metal so doesn't allow for a special recessed door sensor either). I had to send that system back, and wanting to get an alarm in my new home installed asap I picked up a flier from my mailbox and called the ADT dealer on it (without doing any research, BIG mistake). The company I had chosen led me to believe that installing the system would be almost free, yet when the installer came out he tried to charge me $1300. I bargained him down to about $1100 and let him install it. After the fact I looked up that company on yelp. They had the most terrible reviews I have ever seen. But then I noticed that California Security Pro had great reviews so I called and talked to Jarrett just to compare and get a sense of whether or not I actually had been ripped off by the other company. He told me that they could install the same system that I had just paid $1,100 for for $350, including low profile window sensors (the ones the other company had installed were so massive I was afraid the custom blinds we had ordered weren't going to work on our windows when they arrived). Since this was in the first 3 days of my original install I was able to get a full refund from the other company and Jarrett was very helpful in making sure that everything got switched over smoothly with ADT since we were jumping from one dealer to another. He even met me near my office the same day I called him so that I could sign paperwork and get the process rolling as quickly as possible. Jeremy came out and installed the system as soon as we had the previous system removed and did a great job. He was the complete opposite of the pushy salesman type who had installed the previous system. He was knowledgeable, friendly, didn't try to sell us more equipment, and even made it so that we could vent a couple of our windows with the alarm on without charging extra for it. The only downside of ADT in my opinion is that there is such a range of dealers that it is hard to know if you are working with a good business or not but if you go with California Security Pro you will have nothing to worry about!

We suffered a brake in on our rental unit in the Sivlerlake area of Los Angeles. My tenant was shooken up. We called California Security Pro and I spoke to Jerrett who was professional and was able to schedule an install with in 72 hours. Daniel came to do the install of the equipment and he was on time (If not early), professional, and got right down to installation. When it came time to teaching us about the alarm system, Daniel was patient and had no problem repeating info several times. Daniel gave me his contact info and stated if I needed anything to call. The next day I got a follow up call from Jerrett who was checking in and wanted to know how the install went. The customer service andprofessionalism to be applauded I have another security system in my home.......which shall remain nameless..... and the custormer service from this company does not reach ADT's. Trying to work through the differences across home security systems is painful and you always feel like you are getting ripped off - but these guys made it as pleasant as possible. Lance came out on a weekend to walk us through the ADT system. Jarrett called and sold us on their capabilities. He was super responsive via text and got us scheduled on time. Shortly there after we had Carl come over for the installation. Doug from ADT's wireless partner company i-Control came over to make sure everything went smoothly with the installation. It was great they took the extra effort to have him join. They both were early and waited until it was time to come in. Extremely professional, competent and nice. Carl is a complete expert. I felt comfortable with both of them in my home setting everything up and answering my questions. After a recent break-in, my family and I decided to invest in a security system. I looked through Yelp and saw California Security Pro with all the high ratings and I immediately called them. Just had my second home security installed with California security pro. I missed my first appointment which was entirely my fault. No problem, they quickly rescheduled it for me and came out the next day. I wanted to use the same consultant, but even before I had a chance to say it, they already have all that info. The security consultant, Jarrett McAllister, came to our home over a weekend to show us the offerings of ADT security system. He spent quite some time with us to go through all the features and explained to us about the detail of all the different programs. We brought out some promotions from other competitors and he offered to match the price with better discount and even called his office to confirm an offer to cover our early cancellation fee of our current monitoring service. We scheduled an installation to be done 5 days later. Later we decided to cancel the installation because we would like to check out more security systems before we really make a decision. We found our credit card was charged several days later. I sent an email to Jarrett about that and he quickly responded that he would take care of it. The charge was refunded back to our account shortly after.Although we didn't go with ADT because we want to see more alternatives I would definitely recommend Jarrett if you would like to have monitoring service from ADT.

Looking forward to having my first security system installed this week. I have really wanted a system but was very turned off from another company last Summer. They were going over their sales pitch and my mother was not feeling well. She was with me and it was quite evident she did not feel well. My aunts home was broken into last year 2 times. She finally decided to get a security system installed. I am glad that California Security Pro knocked on my door. My wife and I scheduled a Saturday morning appointment with Jarrett who showed up on time ready to discuss our security needs. Jarrett spent alot of time with us going over what we really needed to make our house more secure. He did not try to upsell us on products that we didn't need and just spent time taking care of what was really necessary. We cut a deal and he set up the install just a few days later. The technician showed up exactly on time and made sure that we were on the exact same page as to where he was installing our products. All in all it was a great experience and our home is now good to go. I just need to follow up with Jarrett to make sure that he gets his paperwork over to my homeowners insurance so I can save a little more. By far, it was the best experience with an alarm company we've ever had. It's pretty rare to have good customer service end-to-end from a business. I called the 800 number, and Marissa answered in a pleasant tone, quickly scheduling an appointment the next day.
Jarrett, from sales, came over to inspect our home and explained the ADT system to us at a fair, reasonable price. Jarrett is gracious and courteous as a professional, even showing up early for our appointment to beat traffic, which was a surprise. You don't see that very often.
Jesse, our technician, worked tirelessly to upgrade our alarm system with a reassuring attitude. He is very knowledgeable and patient, thoroughly answering a lot of questions we had about our system. I thought he did outstanding work, making use of our existing system, which was pretty old, to work with our newer system.

The reviews for California Security Pro were so good, I thought they were fake. THEY ARE REAL! Once I did my homework on the other reviewers and was convinced they were real people, decided to give CSP a call.
Jarrett arrived on-time and understood that we had already been exploring the ADT Pulse service. We didn't want the song and dance, we just wanted a better price than we had been quoted directly from ADT.
CSP saved us close to $1000 from the original quote, they made sure we received a piece of equipment we wanted that they don't normally offer and they installed quickly.
Pat and Micah worked on our system. They were knowledgable, professional, and didn't make our house look like a prison despite all the new equipment. I had almost no clean up to deal with when they left. Likewise, my husband and I both felt comfortable in how to use the system when we left.
As some of the other reviewers have stated, it shouldn't be a rarity to get customer service. But when you see it, as with California Security Pro--you recognize it!
Now if we can only remember to turn the system off when our puppy has to do her business at 5am!

Excellent service. I researched quite a bit and writing this after a few weeks on their service and I am glad I went with these guys. My representative was Jarrett McAllister and he was good enough to set up a later appointment so we could do it after work. He got there on time, was prepared to explain their system, and answer all my questions. One thing I really liked was the different choices available in service and pricing and we found a solution that fit my needs and budget perfectly.
We actually scheduled the install for I believe the next day and also after work which Jarrett set up. The installer gave us a confirmation call as scheduled and he was also very professional, knew his way around what he needed to do with their system and the installation to the house. He also provided a number where we could call him directly (not just the help desk but the installer directly which to me is a plus).

I was absolutely thrilled with how easy this process was. I sought out CA Security Pro after reading all the great reviews on Yelp. I went through the standard request process for a rep to show up at our Pleasant Hill home and was lucky enough to have "the one and only" Jarret McAllister show up. His online reputation is warranted.
He was able to work with my wife and I on pricing as well as provide us with the desired coverage. We both felt comfortable with the logical suggestions he made, as they did not feel like disingenuous sales pitches.
Micah Robertson was our technician and was extremeley polite and efficient. He arrived the day after our contract was signed and was in and out.
For whatever reason; from my own experiences it is rare to find organizations that excel in customer service. I would recommend CA Security Pro to anyone looking for a home security system and would fully vouch for both the individuals that helped us with our home.
It may seem insignificant, but what impressed me the most was that both Jarret and Micah arrived on time. I was told that a rep would arrive within a 2 hour window and both individuals were at my door step at the start of the 1st minute of that window! I breath of fresh air compared to the likes of cable companies, repair men, etc.

My fiance found CSP on Yelp and after reading such amazing reviews, we couldn't go wrong by calling them up for a consult. Not only did that consult turn around take no time at all, we were introduced to a team of young, amazing and honestly helpful associates. So helpful and provided us with more than just a consult, but the reassurance that we were making the right choice by setting up our security system with CSP. So 5 Stars goes to Jarrett McAllister my Security Consultant. I have been with ISP for 6 years now and they where bought out by All-Guard which I did not like at all. Jarrett came to my house and gave me a wonderful presentation. He did not try to sell me anything I did NOT need. Instead he asked me what I liked about my current system and what I would like to see changed. We spoke about what was not working out for me and he came up with a master plan!! . I had 4 other companies come out and give me quotes for the same systems. They where all above Jarrett's price range and of course the systems where not as nice. Well then it came down to getting the master plan in my husbands current budget which I thought would be impossible for what I wanted. But Jarrett came back and got me the price I need to get my system installed and even got me the installation date I need which is tomorrow. ADT here I come. Stay tuned for the installation review!! We called ADT to get an estimate for a security system. Jarrett was the salesman who came out. He was very attentive, listened carefully to our needs and concerns and provided some great recommendations. He even gave us tips on things that we could do on our own to make our home even safer. He was very patient when we told him we were stil shopping around and invited us to call him at anytime and he'd come back out at our convenience. After talking to other alarm companies, we felt ADT offered the best equipment for our needs. True to his word, Justin came back to our home the same day that we called him back, finalized everything and arranged for installation the very next day. Rene was our installer and was also great. There was a minor glitch in the installation, but Rene came out the next day and quickly fixed it. We've had the system for a week and it's working great. What do you do when you have an alarm system already installed in your home and the phone line, cable, etc. goes out? Your monitoring company should be on it...right? In fact, they should be calling and confirming that you are okay - right??
That's what we thought but quickly found out that not all companies are created equally. Our alarm was basically frozen with not even a call from the company. YIKES! That's where Jarrett came into play this May.
You can imagine that we were a little skeptical of monitoring companies - given our experience...BUT... Jarrett took the time to go through the data for California Security Pro. He was easy-going but knowledgeable about the company and the system and we never felt like we were getting a high-pressure sales pitch. REFRESHING!
