Great experience and overdue review!
Earlier this year I needed to activate an alarm system. I did my research and called a few places that had sent me coupons in the mail. California security pro hadn't mailed me anything, but I called them anyway because they were the only ones with good yelp reviews. Angel was the sales representative who came out. He was very nice, honest, and professional. He assessed my needs fairly, gave me options, and didn't upsell me (I have a landline, no need for pulse). When he saw the other offers I got in the mail, he matched them and then beat them by adding a glass sensor. He was knowledgeable about permit requirements in my city, and even asked me if I have AAA (I do!) for an extra discount on the monthly fee.
Instead of pressuring me to close the deal on the spot, he left me a written copy of the contract so I could discuss it with my partner before signing. Just really honest! Daniel, the technician who installed my system, was friendly and helpful. He even took my call a month later when I had a question about the DSC system they installed. He checked with other technicians, and then called me back to answer my question. Great company!

"No high pressure sales tactic, prices were up front." Finally decided to get a security alarm system. I called California security Pro on a Friday, made an appointment for 10 AM the next day, and by midday the following Tuesday, the system was installed. Just like some installs, there were some hiccups along the way but Angel, the sales rep, and Christian, the installer were very accommodating and made sure that everything was to my satisfaction. No high pressure sales tactic, prices were up front. No nickel and dimming you at every turn. Refreshing. Now, just like car insurance, you have it but you hope you never have a need for it. "They were top notch." I did alot of research before going with this dealer and ADT. We had a close call and caught a potential break in at our home in the act in the middle of the night. SCARY STUFF! I couldn't get a security system in quick enough. After making alot of calls to some of the top rated services, this dealer had the best reviews. I called and Angel Rodriguez came the next day for our consult. He was professional and pleasant. Most of all he didn't try to up-sell me. I found out about the company through Angie's List, where they were highly rated and were having a $99 installation deal on the Pulse System. The woman who answered the phone was very pleasant and set up an appointment for me with Angel. Angel was also pleasant and easy to work with, not being too pushy or overselling. The only glitch was the day we were to have the installation, the installer's previous job ran late so we ended up having to postpone our installation to the next day. That said, the installer called us a couple times to update us, and he was very polite and apologetic.
