September has come and is almost gone! Those of us with kids, have probably sent them off to school and have some extra free time on our hands. However, even though your home may seem a little quieter, summer isn't over quite yet and families still want to enjoy every bit of sun they can get. Those of us familiar with San Jose, know that there is always excitement and events to enjoy in every little corner. One of the most popular places I'm sure most of us know of is Santana Row! As we get into the month of August, we begin to realize that our kids are going back to school which ultimately means that summer is coming to an end. Oakland is a great place to be during the summertime; There is always something to do! On the weekend of August 2nd and August 3rd, downtown Oakland will be the place to be for the Art & Soul Festival. It's a fun and family friendly event, where many local artists will perform and even national recording artists. There will also be many artisan booths and delicious food from all around the world. Kids will equally enjoy this outdoor event with lots of carnival rides, bouncers, face painting and much more!

No matter what time of year it is there's still so much to do in San Francisco. People from all over the world travel to California, with the intent of catching a glimpse of the Golden Gate Bridge or just experience the city life! Because San Francisco tends to be on the cooler side, the summer months are always the busiest time of the year! Other locals from surrounding areas like to escape the heat by heading to San Francisco and going shopping, out to lunch or heading over to a game. No matter what the occasion, or the weather or time of year, San Francisco is always lively!

Being the capitol of the golden state, no wonder it attracts many people throughout the year! Sacramento is the place to be if you want to enjoy a little bit of everything. From great food to historical landmarks and a lively downtown, Sacramento never falls short. If visiting Sacramento, you certainly won't be disappointed because there's always something going on. If you're a local, you know that Sacramento certainly does not get old. On warm days you can go down to the Sacramento River that is well worth a visit and appropriate for the whole family in addition to many great shopping centers and malls that will satisfy any shopaholic! Stockton is truly a very unique city, filled with lots of history and a modern day atmosphere. You can find yourself looking at pieces of history when inside the Haggin Museum or visit good ol' downtown where you can watch a movie or take a stroll by the waterfront. With the warmer weather in Stockton, you can't help but go out and enjoy yourself and soak up some sun. However, on the flip side of that, is the fact that crime still very much exists.
