I did alot of research before going with this dealer and ADT. We had a close call and caught a potential break in at our home in the act in the middle of the night. SCARY STUFF! I couldn't get a security system in quick enough. After making alot of calls to some of the top rated services, this dealer had the best reviews. I called and Angel Rodriguez came the next day for our consult.

He was professional and pleasant. Most of all he didn't try to up-sell me. In fact when I wanted the gammant of every security measure out there he logically talked me into a smaller package that gave me the same sense of security without the overkill approach I wanted to take. Daniel Zartner came a couple of days later to do the install. He was swift and informative. He made sure I was very comfortable with the system, placement, how to use it. etc. I can't speak highly enough about Angel and Daniel. If you use this dealer, request both of them.

They were top notch and I have slept with a peace of mind that my house and my family are safe and secure. We love our system. I have zero regrets and it was installed two months ago and we use the system multiple times a day/everyday. I especially love my ADT impulse app. I can arm and disarm the system remotely 24/7. I can see who is turning it on and off and how frequently. It's been a great investment.

"We got the pulse system and could not be happier with it."

After being broken into a few times in the last few weeks I had Chris P show up at my door. I was not really looking for a security system and had bad experiences in the past with them, when he came by but after talking with him for a few min. he seemed to know about they systems and really cared about what was going on with the break ins. So I set up an appointment with him and when he came in he was very easy to talk to and was very knowledgeable on all the products and plans.

We had lots of questions and he answered them all. We got the pulse system and could not be happier with it. We then ran into a problem about a week later and he got right on top of it and fixed it. Chris has some of the best if not the best customer service skills I have seen and I would recommend him to anyone and have already recommended him to a few people. Very NICE Group of people to work with! I was looking for an alarm system for our business when we move to the new location . I found California Security in Google search. They have Angel call me back the next day and give me an EXCELLENT price quote over tbe phone..Fast & Simple ! We agreed & sign the contract , 3 days later we have our system installed !  HIGHLY recommend using these guys.

Having had a negative experience with a competitor, we were leery of the whole security business. Dorelle was incredibly responsive, friendly, and really took her time explaining what she recommended and why. It's clear that she's passionate about home security, and ensuring that her customers are EXTREMELY well taken care of.

The positive experience continued when Pat came to install our system. Never have I met a more professional, patient, and knowledgeable installer. In all cases he went above and beyond, and truly made us feel like the system was being installed correctly the first time. He walked us thru using our system and we haven't had any issues sense.

These guys are extremely customer focused.  I was paying $25 a month for monitoring services for a 20 year old alarm system that was tied into my home phone. We dumped our home phones because they are just a waste of money and only use our cell phones these days so the old alarm system didn't work anymore.  The old alarm company wanted $700 to put a new cellular pad in the house and it had nowhere near the bells and whistles I get with ADT.

I now have the $59 a month service from ADT and they used all my old door and window detectors which is a very large number that are hardwired in so that is great.  Kyle, my sales rep explained all of this to me and he was great through the whole process. Pat, the installer came by today to install the system - he was awesome - knows his stuff inside and out, was pleasant, and efficient.  For the $99 I upgraded to cellular, got a motion detector, a camera, another wireless detector for the wine cellar, a lamp switch, and the alarm can be armed and disarmed from one of 4 places:

1) The downstairs keypad
2) The upstairs keypad
3) A key fob - this is great for walking the dog - go out the back door and arm the whole house with a press of a button
4) My cellphone - the ADT Pulse App from the App Store works great.  I can see what is going on on the camera, arm the house from NY if I want, set up a vacation schedule so the lamp goes on and off at certain times while I am on vacation.

I needed a new system anyway, and if I think about some of the things we spend money on, an extra $35 a month for great safety, piece of mind, convenience, flexibility, and state of the art technology was an easy decision for me.

ADT has good technology but the real difference maker here is California Security Pro.  These things can get complicated and having a great dealer that is first class from the sale through to the install deserves a review like this .  Not easily impressed but was today.

Im not sure where to start with this review. From the first call to the installation of my alarm system Ive been completely satisfied!  I called them because i was about to spend an arm and a leg for an alarm system but i called this company before buying because the wife didn't let me buy from the other ADT dealer. So fast forward, i spoke with Otis and he was very professional from the get go. He offered to come out for FREE and give me a quote . I felt that i didn't need him to come out but I'm glad he did . When he came out he showed up on time and was very nice. Never did i feel pressure to buy and i got wayyyyy more information from him than i did from the other company. He showed me why ADT is the alarm company to go with.

What i love about my alarm system is that i could make sure my garage door is closed. I always have a worry about it because i have all my tools in there. I can CLOSE and OPEN it with my phone, how cool is that?? Lol ADT pulse also allows me to lock and unlock my front door. I definitely recommend Otis and his team for anyone looking for an alarm system. Nobody ever solicited me to leave a review which makes this even more genuine . Shout out to my wife for making me shop around before making a buying decision. Thanks Otis & ADT my family is now safe!

5/27/2016 " you won't be disappointed."

I was recently burglarized and was looking for a security system. I called all over looking for someone to get the system installed by Monday before I went to work as I didn't feel safe leaving the house alone without one. After several calls to get one installed, no one could meet my timeline. That's when I called California security pros. I was set up with an appointment that day and the security system was installed before I needed to go back to work! Brandon was very professional and made sure to cover all the possibilities with me. I was very happy with the ease of use and the ADT pulse app which lets you control and monitor the system from anywhere! Call California security pros and ask for Brandon, you won't be disappointed.

4/29/2016  " I can control most all my features online as well as my android smart phone."

We recently upgraded our company phone system and needed to upgrade our alarm system as well.  After getting a quote from our incumbent company Bay Alarm, I was referred to Kyle Madison @ ADT to see their offerings.  Knowing our alarm situation, Kyle made it a point to meet me the same day which I was pleasantly surprised.  Not only that, the alarm package he put together is more secure than our existing system with the advantage of now having cameras on all our external doors...all at a recurring cost much less than Bay Alarm's offering as well as their legacy system that was previously in place (since year 2000).  

Kyle made this whole process painless and I'm excited with the new setup as well as the peace of mind that goes along with it.  I can control most all my features online as well as my android smart phone.  I would definitely use ADT for any future installs and references for others. - Fred V. I.T. We received an e-mail from our realtor about ADT's realtor referral program.  Levi Ocampo was helpful with the available plans in our city and immediately booked us his next available appointment. He was friendly, professional, and went out of his way to help us get the right package for us. William, the installer, called us 30 minutes in advance to let us know he will be arriving at the scheduled time. He did a great job installing the security system for us. I recently purchased the ADT deal for $99.00. Danny called and made an appointment to come out to my house within a few days. We discussed all my options, and if there was anything I would like to add. He did not attempt to hard sell me, which I very much appreciated. Nothing worse then that. I decided on adding a couple of things, including a lighting timer. After signing the paperwork he proceeded to set up my installation appointment for a future date.

For the installation a few weeks later I had Daniel as my installer. He was professional, efficient and knowledgeable. He called before he came to let me know how far out he was and when he would arrive. He explained what he was going to do and then completed the work. After he was finished he showed me the ADT Pulse application for my IPhone and IPad.

We went through it and set it up. He also answered all my questions regarding the key pad and installation in detail, and then asked if I had any other questions. He also left his business card in case I needed to call in the future. I would highly recommend this company!! Very professional, efficient and knowledge about their product. Very happy with this deal!!

We recently move to Campbell and I  was looking for security system for my Townhouse.  Maria knock at my door at the right time ready to provide me with the  the  best estimate and  very caring service. Maria was very knowledgeable about product and help me  to design a system that fit my budget and security needs. Maria was  very accommodating and sensitive to my unique needs she do an excellent job of explaining products/service with various options you need. I selected wireless ADT, Pulse coverage. We had the security system installed few days later. Excellent job by Maria and Micah the installer. I highly recommend this company  for your home alarm!

We recently moved to Antioch from the South Bay and were looking into getting an alarm system whe Joseph Abeyta from ADT came by to greet us. He wasn't pushy at all in going over all of our various options for how to have our system monitored. We didn't get the pre-wired model so we had to go with a wireless system which worked out very well for us. We decided to go with the pulse app and so far have been very glad we did. Our installation went very smooth and only took about two hours. Hector, our installer was also very professional and clean. The day after we had our system put in, Joseph came back to help us get our App all set up and also went out of his way to recommend various improvements that we could make ourselves to the outside of our home and garage to make our house more secure. Overall, I was very impressed with this company and would recommend California Security to anyone.

I started the process of upgrading my 23-year-old hard-wired home alarm system with maximum trepidation. The house situated in the Oakland Hills is fairly large with wrap-around decks and frankly a nightmare to provide maximum security. The company that did the initial instillation 23 years ago concurred: Despite multiple phone calls, they failed to send someone for an upgrade review and never followed up with my phone calls.

I had the great fortune of being referred to California Security Pro by my State Farm insurance agent. My good fortune continued with meeting up with the East Bay business manager, Fish Araya. This gentleman promptly returned my phone call, set up a home inspection within 48 hours. He was punctual, courteous, professional, and efficient.

We were able to put together a system that piggy-backed on my hard-wired system and added 3 cameras for 24 -hour, motion triggered and real-time PRN monitoring. The 24-hour monitoring is provide by ADT, the national company. The best is yet to come.

When I had concerns about the initial installation plan, Fish showed up with the installer who did a bang-up job. The installer, named Carl, was quiet, extremely knowledgeable, courteous and went the extra mile: he swapped my old motion detectors for cameras (wiring was still in place), set up wireless motion detectors all over the house, placed an additional window sensor in a crucial location (the wireless pulse technology allows you to add multiple devices through a home wi-fi system) and connect all this to the internet for remote monitoring.

Carl also did some rewiring of my crawl space (under less than idyllic conditions, I might add) connect the alarm box to the netgear modem/router. As if this were not enough, he reprogrammed all 30 old and new stations (including fire sensors) and took the time to show me how I could monitor my system on the web through my computer or app for my phone. Everything is working perfectly. Bravo Fish and Carl.

You are the best. Also kudos to California Security Pro and ADT. One last thing: Fish provides fabulous post installation service! He promptly returns all calls. This is bliss. Jacques Hirschler

The weekend I first started moving into my new house, Leo stop by inquiring if I was interested in a security system for the house. This worked out perfect for me, because I was indeed interested, but did not know which company I should go with. Leo took time and sat down with me just to discuss about his company and the ADT systems, without applying any pressure on me to purchase a system.

I did purchase the ADT Pulse system, which I am very happy with (I love that there is an IPhone app). Leo was VERY helpful and friendly; he even helped me move a few boxes into my house and sat and talked with my parents. Not to mention Leo gave me a good deal on the system and installation.

Unfortunately my house was broken into. I was impressed with ADT and this helpfulness throughout the whole situation; I was not so impressed with Oakland Police Department for showing up 4 hours after the break in occurred. When the burglar broke in, the ripped my alarm system off the wall in attempt to disarm the system (I would have loved to see their face when the alarm kept going after they ripped it off). ADT came the next day to put a new system up (I do want to say that the technician was over an hour late, which was a little irritating since I had to leave work early to be there for when he arrived- minus a star for that).

Soon after the break in, I decided to replace all my windows with double pane windows. This required me to take off all of the sensors. When putting the sensors back up, apparently my dad and I did not align them properly so my system could not arm. So I gave Leo a call and he came right over and helped my dad put the sensors back up and made sure everything was working properly. I am very happy to know that if I need anything related to my alarm system I can always call Leo and he will help me out. - Olivia G, Oakland
