After a lot of activity in Danville, we decided to get an alarm. Where do you start? I knew we wanted to be monitored, but had no idea what the cost might be or how to go about it smartly. Our neighborhood has a website we all post info on. I saw that ADT in San Ramon (California Security Pro) was highly recommended with a discount. We had them come out and Joe Abeyta was very professional. He exceeded our expectations, and sold us exacted what we needed, there was no upsell or pushy constraints. There were good suggestions made regarding security in general, and we are very happy with the service. Joe juggled his schedule to accommodate my urgent need, and Pat Amtrone was our installer. Pat Came the very next day to install, which was fantastic! Even after a full day, Pat took the time to show me how to use the alarm, and helped me set it up on my phone, and my husband's phone. Jarrett McAllister is very professional. He guided me through the different options/packages they have and helped me selected one that is best for me and my family. Whole process was easy and their schedule was very flexible. Jarrett is very knowledgeable and responsive which I appreciate very much being a real estate agent. Same goes for the installation itself, the technician gave us a 30 min advance notice and showed up on time as scheduled. He provided valuable advice on where we should set up the sensors and control panels based on where most of the break-in occur. Jarrett and his team is highly recommended and my family feel very well protected with the advanced ADT system that we now have. I just want to thank the tech Lee Tran for the excellent job he did installing my ADT system. He was very professional, polite and knew what he was doing, He did a great job of removing the old system that the previous owners had and installing the new one. He realize we couldn't go with cellular in our area, because the signal was dropping off to much and hard wire our system, which of course save us money. He was very good at explaining everything. Also the customer service rep Leslie Caceres was of great help correcting things and getting me answers about questions I had and scheduling a quick appointment that sent Lee out. And Don the sales rep was nice and helpful when looking over what we needed. Thank you all, Ray.

I reached out to CA Security Pro based on their reviews as an ADT Authorized Dealer. As per reviews, I was very satisfied with the entire process. I recently purchased a home that already had ADT installed, which is why I initially wanted to stay with ADT. After that decision, finding who would install made the next most sense.
They didn't try to make me purchase anything I didn't need, they were straightforward with what were "add ons" versus just basic service, and their installation with quick, seamless, and very professional.
On the sales side I worked with Kyle, on install I believe his name was Ray, and again, the entire process was great.
I ended up adding 7 (one was thrown in to make sure my son's room was completely covered since it has a door and windows to the outside) more sensors and 1 motion detector. I also added the ADT Pulse app to my plan (it allows you to arm and disarm from an app, along with other features)

Kyle recommended an installer, he came out and was excellent, same approach as Kyle...installed a lot of equipment quickly, educated us on how to use it, was patient when I had to run and buy batteries for the existing 20 window sensors that needed new batteries

Bill Wood is awesome. He has been with ADT for many years so he gets stuff done! I have used him in my last 4 homes. I recently switched to XFINITY because they offered it to me with my cable. I switched back to Bill after 6 months and gladly paid the early termination fees with XFINITY to quickly get back in BIll's hands. He knows his trade well and his service is second to none. He really works hard to take care of his customers and he truly does care. His customer's satisfaction is his #1 goal and it shows through his service. This is one of those "I wish I could give more than 5 stars" reviews. It will be a bit lengthy, but I hope that others might benefit from my experiences.
When we purchased our Napa home (and before I knew about Bill Wood at California Security Pro Napa), we chose ADT because of their national reputation, and also because they were the company the seller had been using. I (naively) assumed that all ADT "authorized" dealers were the same in regards to equipment, prices and business practices. So I just googled ADT Napa and picked the first "authorized" dealer that came up. BIG mistake.
Basically, the ADT rep/installer who came out (NOT from a local Napa company) was a salesman who was out to make a buck. They will give you a "teaser" offer over the phone, and of course you can expect to pay more based on your home's configuration--I just had no idea how much more. He misled us, then upsold us the new equipment he said we needed, at a huge markup. I'm usually very thorough about researching prices, reviews, etc. but we were overwhelmed with so many other aspects of our move that I didn't do my usual due diligence.
The next day: enter Bill Wood of California Security Pro ADT based in Napa. He introduced himself and his company, and when I told him that I already a system, he inquired about it. When he discovered how much I had paid and that we had replaced an existing system that might have still been operational, he was absolutely outraged. He explained that he would have evaluated the existing system and what he would have charged for a new one. I realized that I had been taken advantage of and how much I had grossly overpaid.
I asked Bill what I could do at this point (and I was actually very happy with the system itself). Bill thoroughly explained how I could exercise my three-day right to cancel, and also that I could speak to the ADT corporate office about my experience. I decided to do both.
Long story shorter--they refunded half my purchase price and I kept my new system. Bottom line: Bill Wood, who did not make a penny out of all of this, saved me a LOT of money because he is an ethical, dedicated professional who cares about
his community and the reputation of his company.
He is honest, thorough, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful (he came over and helped clear up a system error message at no charge, on a system he didn't even install, Thanksgiving Eve!)

Moved into my home and was in need of a security system. Went onto Yelp and found this company. I was a little surprised at how high there ratings were. After the system was installed, I now know why. Great experience with the office and the technician. I need to leave for work by 11am. I have researched alarm companies and alarm equipment for quite awhile and honestly, i don't have tine to install it myself so I put it off until a friend referred their alarm guy, Larry Maerina at California Security Pro. I called Larry at 707-373-3218 and just the very reasons why he was highly recommended, he was responsive, prompt for the appointment and very easy to deal with.
Larry is definitely not like other pushy, high strung sales reps that looks like all they care about is their time and how much money they are going to get out of me. To my surprise, he was genuine, honest and professional. He took the time to explain the benefits of having an alarm system, gave me safety tips to make my home more secure against current criminal activities and sold me only what i needed. I chose on my own what I wanted and he gave me free equipment to help me out. I liked his no fluff, no hidden fees, basic and affordable presenration. He followed up by visiting the day of installatuon to make sure everything is installed and is placed where they should be. I had to call him for more window stickers and he showed up the same day!
If anyone is looking, i highly recommend you give this guy a call. You will not be disapppointed!

I talked to Taniqua over the phone to get a quote as well as get some questions answered. She was very friendly, professional, and quite obviously knowledgeable about ADT products & services. Thanks to those attributes, I signed up immediately with installation taking place the following Saturday. Taniqua was always responsive before, during, and after installation.
On Saturday, George, the installation technician, promptly and courteously followed up with me to confirm installation. In fact, his schedule freed up so he could accommodate an installation time a few hours earlier. Upon arrival, George was very thorough assessing my house, installing/testing all equipment quickly, and walking me through on using both the control panel and the ADT Pulse website/phone app.

I bought a house and was on a time crunch to get home security installed before my move in date. Good experience from the start. Kyle, the owner of California Security Pro, takes his job seriously, and I noted his incredible number of positive reviews. They are for good reason. Kyle is a good listener first, and made the transaction simple, because he knew I was in a hurry. I owned ADT at my last house, so I already knew the company was awesome. No fancy explanations, he just showed me how it would work to get exactly what I wanted. He even managed to negotiate a last minute install date on a Saturday, which is typically a tough day to get on the schedule.
It's no surprise that everyone on Kyle's team was just as awesome, because the values of a company come from the top. When it came to working in my house, Kyle's installer took his time, which I really appreciated. When he finished, he spent even more time explaining exactly how to use the system, how to program extra codes, even how to send a silent alarm with a distress code. That was so great, because I'm not good at reading manuals, face to face explanation in front of the control box was way easier to understand. Now I use the system with ease. As a follow up, I've called both his local team, and the 800 Customer service center for various reasons, and was helped quickly, and with great courtesy.
I feel safe in my new home, and I'm happy to be part of the California Security Pro family. Good team, awesome service, great people.

Yelp ReviewFrom the first phone call to the last stage of installation, this has been a phenomenal company. I respect all Yelpers but I honestly don't understand how (if they had a similar experience to me), didn't have a wonderful 5 star experience.
I called on a Monday and had a consult with Otis THAT DAY. Obviously when people want a security system, it is sometimes because something unfortunate happened. So I was super excited that they were so responsive and available. Otis was terrific and we pimped out my house in terms of automation and security.
The very next day, Ron came and began the installation. Not finishing until it was totally perfect. Both Otis and Ron were consummate professionals and incredible to deal with. I may be moving this year, and I will absolutely use them to move and set up even more security. They are responsive, personable and patient.
I also LOVE my system. I mean I show it to people on how I can arm from my phone and open and close my garage also from my phone. I live on four floors so it is so awesome that I can shut and lock doors from the fourth floor. Wow. I can't get over how much I love it and feel it was a great investment in my own laziness and my very real peace of mind.

After our home was robbed in mid-September 2016, we contacted the best YELP referral we could find. California Security Pro had many 5 star ratings, and Kyle Madison's name was mentioned in many of the reviews. So we called and spoke with Kyle directly. He was great! We made an appointment for him to come and take a look at our home. He made suggestions and gave us a very fair quote. He also gave us ADT signs for the front yard, and stickers for the windows.
Within a couple of days his installer came to install the sensors in our home. The package included the remote fob, which is an easy way to arm and disarm the home. Additionally, they have an app for your phone so you can arm/disarm, and check the status of your home remotely. We feel so much safer after installing the ADT system. Our neighbor also used Kyle's ADT service from our recommendation, and she's very happy too.
Kyle Madison was very professional and knowledgable, and we highly recommend him and his company for your security needs.

We were traumatized after a break-in and decided that it was time to get serious about security.Larry came within one hour of our call, which was at 8:30pm. He was conscientious, pleasant, efficient, knowledgeable, professional, and not pushy in any way. It felt like a consultation, not a sales call, and the system we selected felt like the perfect fit. (So happy that we could get an alarm system that was mobile-enabled, by the way).
The installation was scheduled within one business day, and was also a great experience.
We feel so much safer in our home. The Bay Area sadly has the highest property theft rate in the country. I wouldn't look at any other dealer.

Earlier this year I needed to activate an alarm system. I did my research and called a few places that had sent me coupons in the mail. California security pro hadn't mailed me anything, but I called them anyway because they were the only ones with good yelp reviews. Angel was the sales representative who came out. He was very nice, honest, and professional. He assessed my needs fairly, gave me options, and didn't upsell me (I have a landline, no need for pulse). When he saw the other offers I got in the mail, he matched them and then beat them by adding a glass sensor. He was knowledgeable about permit requirements in my city, and even asked me if I have AAA (I do!) for an extra discount on the monthly fee.
Instead of pressuring me to close the deal on the spot, he left me a written copy of the contract so I could discuss it with my partner before signing. Just really honest! Daniel, the technician who installed my system, was friendly and helpful. He even took my call a month later when I had a question about the DSC system they installed. He checked with other technicians, and then called me back to answer my question. Great company!

Having had a negative experience with a competitor, we were leery of the whole security business. Dorelle was incredibly responsive, friendly, and really took her time explaining what she recommended and why. I worked with Tim C. We had a great experience. We needed a quick turn around on installation to meet our inspection deadline for a remodel, Tim had the installers come out within 2 days and took the time to get us scheduled even though we called while he was out to dinner. Andrew M. was our installer. He was very polite, arrived on time, and was very patient with us to ensure the results met our expectations. I really appreciated Andrew's willingness to find the right answer by using all of the resources at his disposal. He performed very neat work. Kyle showed up for my appointment on time and with all the information I needed. My husband and I have been discussing getting an alarm for over a year now, but I always hesitated because the reviews for most dealers are really bad and we wanted to avoid that kind of experience. Kyle was a no pressure, very detailed and really nice person. He explained every little detail, didn't gouge me with pricing even when I decided we wanted a whopping 12 sensors and a motion detector. The installer who came was named Pat and he was prompt and neat. I quickly advised him I didn't want wires showing for the main control panel and he did an immaculate job hiding them. He walked me through every feature and help me set up the app on my phone, which is amazing because it works with your fingerprint. We have had the alarm for over a week now and the adjustment period honestly only lasted about a day and we couldn't be happier or feel safer. I sleep better, I feel protected, we've had no false alarms, everything just works as expected and I'm so glad I decided to do this. I'm super impressed by this company that still values customer service and knows how to treat people in a time when those values are hard to come by.

Otis J. Is the man! This company really sticks to what they advertise . With so many different ADT dealers it's hard to choose one. I decided to give them a call and I decided to go with Otis & his team because of their professional approach. Not only was he able to come out to my house the same day, he also was able to get me installed the next day. After calling a few different 800 numbers I realized that most of them don't care about anything but making a sale.
I didn't get this feeling from these guys. He went over all the options available and he didn't seem pushy when he was done with his presentation. I told him that I had recently purchased a home and I didn't have extra cash. He gave me very fair & competitive pricing. I decided to go the ADT Pulse route and be able to arm and disarm my system remotely from my smart phone. I also purchased a Ring doorbell for my front door. The tech installed it and I just need my internet up so I can connect it to my wifi. I've had the system for a couple of weeks and so far it's been a GREAT EXPERIENCE ! Just recently purchased our house this month we contacted Shane Mendez and he provided spectacular service for us. He went above and beyond to help us get exactly what we want. I originally went to impulse the girl May offered me 7 devices total for my house and she wanted to charge me an additional 500 for the other device ( not to mention this is just the device for Windows not even the motion sensor ) my husband says she was ripping us off she gave us the worst experiment ever . Even after the contract with her was close she was sending people out to my house trying to set up the alarm without my notice .
Thank God I was referred to shane. Shane took care of all my needs. Please everyone save yourself time and do not go to impulse. Impulse is another company with adt but they will try to dig every bit of you not to mentiom they will scam you!!! Please please save yourself time and call Shane with Capital Security Pro he will not let you down. Shane treated us as if we were his own family got us the best deal . Yelp Review These guys are extremely customer focused. I was paying $25 a month for monitoring services for a 20 year old alarm system that was tied into my home phone. We dumped our home phones because they are just a waste of money and only use our cell phones these days so the old alarm system didn't work anymore. The old alarm company wanted $700 to put a new cellular pad in the house and it had nowhere near the bells and whistles I get with ADT.
I now have the $59 a month service from ADT and they used all my old door and window detectors which is a very large number that are hardwired in so that is great. Kyle, my sales rep explained all of this to me and he was great through the whole process. Pat, the installer came by today to install the system - he was awesome - knows his stuff inside and out, was pleasant, and efficient. For the $99 I upgraded to cellular, got a motion detector, a camera, another wireless detector for the wine cellar, a lamp switch, and the alarm can be armed and disarmed from one of 4 places:
1) The downstairs keypad
2) The upstairs keypad
3) A key fob - this is great for walking the dog - go out the back door and arm the whole house with a press of a button
4) My cellphone - the ADT Pulse App from the App Store works great. I can see what is going on on the camera, arm the house from NY if I want, set up a vacation schedule so the lamp goes on and off at certain times while I am on vacation.
I needed a new system anyway, and if I think about some of the things we spend money on, an extra $35 a month for great safety, piece of mind, convenience, flexibility, and state of the art technology was an easy decision for me.
ADT has good technology but the real difference maker here is California Security Pro. These things can get complicated and having a great dealer that is first class from the sale through to the install deserves a review like this . Not easily impressed but was today.

After getting a quote from our incumbent company Bay Alarm, I was referred to Kyle Madison @ ADT to see their offerings. Knowing our alarm situation, Kyle made it a point to meet me the same day which I was pleasantly surprised. Not only that, the alarm package he put together is more secure than our existing system with the advantage of now having cameras on all our external doors...all at a recurring cost much less than Bay Alarm's offering as well as their legacy system that was previously in place (since year 2000). Kyle made this whole process painless and I'm excited with the new setup as well as the peace of mind that goes along with it. After some quick research, we thought ADT looked to be the best candidate, but we wanted to talk to some competitors too. We called a leading company and couldn't get an appointment scheduled with the rep. When I called ADT, I spoke directly with a real live person who got me an appointment the same day and after 6p, so that my husband wouldn't have to miss work. Bill Wood arrived right on time, and spent over two hours with us listening to what happened during the burglary, asking us what we wanted and explaining what he could do. Truly professional and he arranged for our system to be installed right away. ADT has some pretty trick systems for a competitive price. Certainly not the lowest price in town but, like they say, you get what you pay for. The installer Patrick was also a great guy. He really listened to what we wanted. Gave great advice about where to put things and took his time explaining the system to us so we felt comfortable with it. Best of all, both Bill and Patrick gave us their direct cell phone numbers to call them if we have any problems. So now we're breathing much easier in our very secure home with the added (entertaining) bonus that we're able to see what our dog does while we're at work.

If you are looking for a home security system, please call California Security Pro. I originally was going to install a do-it-yourself system but did not feel secure enough with me being the only one monitoring my home. I checked out all of the different companies and California Security Pro seemed to be the most consistent and reliable and they are an ADT authorized dealer, plus they are close to my home and had the highest Yelp reviews. I can now see why their reviews are high. Brad Lorentzen, their area representative, showed up on time and took the time to show me all of the different system packages and features that the ADT system offers. He also spent a lot of time assessing my home and giving me many tips on how to secure my home in other ways in addition to a security system. Once I decided on which package I wanted to go with, it was easy to set up a date and time for installation. They work really hard to accommodate you and work around your schedule. The installer, Micah, was very knowledgeable about the system and was very personable and patient in showing me how to operate it. With my system I can activate and disarm from my cell phone. It is so easy to operate and I now once again feel safe in my home. I am extremely pleased with my security system and highly recommend calling California Security Pro. You won't be disappointed.
